Transportation (PATS)

Person Area Transportation System (PATS) is a public transportationpats logo

service that operates as a branch of the Person County Government. 

PATS provides transportation for various human services agencies,

the elderly, people with disabilities and the general public of

Person County to anywhere in Person County for a fee.

Mission Statement: 

Our mission is to provide safe, friendly and reliable transportation to the citizens and visitors of Person County utilizing the most efficient manner possible to increase mobility and support a livable community.  

Vision Statement: 

Our vision is to continuously provide accessible transportation opportunities to meet the needs of the citizens and visitors of Person County. 

Hours of Operation: 

PATS Administrative Office is located in the Roxboro Square Building Complex. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Referral Email: 

PATS routes (curb to curb pick-up) operate Monday - Friday from 6:00am - 6:00pm.

Out-of-County medical appointment route operates Tuesday - Thursday. For more information, please reference the Fares Page or our Passenger Policy. We do offer transport to Prospect Hill daily for medical appointments only.

We offer dialysis transportation Monday-Wednesday-Friday of each week. Many clients are assisted by Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Government regarding funding for these transports. 

Roxboro Uptown Shuttle operates Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 5:00pm
